This is the outward focus that makes us the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world.” Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:13-16).

RAYMOND JEW-SPRING CONCERT APRIL 27
FROM RAYMOND JEW (MURRAY CHURCH OF CHRIST): I would like to invite you to my 2024 solo guitar spring concert taking place Saturday, April 27th at 7pm at the Murray Park Church of Christ (494 E. 5300 S. Murray, Utah). It is a benefit concert for the VOA (Volunteers of America, see www.voaut.org) Women’s shelter in Murray.
I am trying to raise food to help fill their pantry this time of year when they are low. Please donate non-perishable food (canned food, ramen, cereal, instant Oatmeal mix, etc.), as this will be the price of admission.
I will be playing covers of artists like James Taylor, Dan Fogelberg, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver, Glen Campbell and others, as well as my own compositions. There will also be an intermission with cookies and tea available for your enjoyment. It will be a relaxing time with just me and my guitars singing and playing music for you. I will also have a PowerPoint slide show during the songs as well. I would be so honored if you could come.
Please invite friends, family, significant others. Many of you attended last year, and I got a lot of great comments from that concert. For some, this is an annual ritual (I think this is my 16th year). It is my hope that you will go away feeling it was time well spent.
